Strange email caption, huh?
Allow me to explain.
I don’t think it’s any secret that football season is in full force. Maybe you have a son or grandson playing under the Friday night lights. Maybe you cheer on your favorite college team on Saturdays. Or maybe NFL football is your jam. Regardless of where you fall, most people have a football connection somewhere. With that, you’re probably also aware that all football teams have a head coach.
But do you know what the head coach has?
The head coach has a TEAM of coaches surrounding him.
The reasons for this boil down to a couple of main considerations:
- A head coach can’t do it all on his own. With anywhere from 50-100 players, there’s no way one coach can do his job effectively and build a strong team.
- Each member of the coaching staff has a specific set of coaching skills. For example, an offensive line coach is very knowledgeable when it comes to offensive plays and the like. The same is true for defense coaches, special teams coaches, etc.
So again, while there’s always a head coach, that role never comes without having a team of coaches who are experts in their field.
The question is, “What does this have to do with you and your social media?”
Glad you asked.
Just like a head coach can’t do his job effectively without a team, I believe the same is true for you as a health coach.
You’re the head coach, and with that role comes a lot of responsibility. I don’t think I have to name them all. After all, IYKYK…
